Inspired by our historical park, an exhibition at The Temple in the centre of Wanstead Park presents the work of local artists working in a variety of media.
As well as painting, printmaking, stained glass, sculpture and wood, the exhibition will include ceramics, photography, textiles and jewellery.
Artists from a rich variety of backgrounds will come together with their local connections and a love of the Park.
The show is being curated by local artist Barbara Sampson, working with the Corporation of London.
The exhibition will be open every weekend from 17th September to 30th October 2011 during the following hours:
- Saturday 17th September – Sunday 2nd October 12 noon – 5pm.
- Saturday 8th October – Sunday 30th October 10am – 3pm.
Admission is free and disability parking is available (access via Warren Road).
